Dear News reader

                                       It’s a New Beginning.

A short word of encouragement for the New Year from Pastor Martin, and wife Gaynor.
Well another year is over, some of it has been hard, but much of it has been good, and it’s the good that we want to take on with us into the New Year.

We must always remember that our God is a good God, not some of the time but all of the time, and as we put our trust and faith in him, then we can believe for great things.
The community has begun to see a change within its environment with the victory of the contaminated land, and as a church we want to encourage and commend those who stood firm in what they believed.

The church has been working very hard right through the Christmas period, providing food hampers for the single parents in the village, helping to make their Christmas just that little bit more special.
The ANGEL TREE project, which is run by Cynon valley Prison Fellowship, was once again very successful.  The church in Abercwmboi provided Christmas presents for prisoners children on behalf of the father, there were a lot of smiling faces.

We pray for our village of Abercwmboi that this year we will see a greater unity and community spirit amongst all ages, believing and expecting to see a greater prosperity in every area of life and living.
So now as the church in the community we want to extend our blessings, and pray that you will have a happy and a prosperous New Year.

                                                            Every Blessing,
                                                                Pastor Martin and Gaynor.
