Subject Intercessors it is time for phase two.   7/11/03
Yes I do believe that what has emerged or been birthed, a body that needs to be covered and protected by prayer, the apostles and prophets of this land need the covering of the intercessors.

Intercessors- symbolic of David’s mighty men.
1chro 11:20- 25, 2 Sam 23:8-24, 2 Sam 21:15-22.
5 GIANTS THAT CAME AGAINST DAVID AND HIS HOUSE.
4 giants 2 Sam 21: 15-22, and the 5th giant 1 Chro 11:22-25
The 4 giants were all descendants of Beth- Rapha.
Beth- Rapha means house of giants.

Beth- Rapha was the 5 Th son of Benjimine 1chro 8 : 12 they came at that time to fight against David, and here is the strong man once again that generation strong man, trying to kill David who was weak and vulnerable at that time.
The man of warfare, the man of radical worship, the man who said I want to see the purposes of God in my generation, was himself, and so the same for us coming against the generational strong man that wants to destroy the Apostolic and Prophetic voice, and so replacing them with the man of peace Solomon.

But David was a man of war. David’s weariness did not stop him from standing his ground v 22 David stood his ground until God said to him that his plans and purposes for him had come to an end
The 1st giant of the enemy v 16 was Ishbi - Benob and the giant of God was Abishai.
Ishbi - Benob was armed with a NEW SWORD ready to kill that which he thought looked small and defenceless.
Rev 12 : 5 the enemy was waiting to destroy the child that had just been born.
The re-establishing of the Apostles and Prophets, but the covering was already there INTERCESSORS, and the child was snatched away up to God.

The war has already started we are encouraged to watch and pray.
Ishbi - Benob it says was armed with a new sword so we must be vigilant the hedge of protection INTERCESSORS must be over ourselves personally, over our families, and over the Apostolic leadership team.
Abisha came to David’s rescue he covered David’s weaknesses, and so protected him, finally killing the giant.

5th Giant 1Chro. 11:22- 25 Benaiah went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion (winter time)
Eleazar stood his ground against the enemy in a field full of barley, and protected the harvest {summer time), an intercessory covering in every season.
Benaiah killed a lion. David said to king Saul in 1 Sam 17:34.
“Your servant has been keeping watch over my fathers sheep when a lion or bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it and rescued the sheep from its mouth and killed it, your servant has killed both the lion and the bear.”
LION-BEAR. The enemy is trying to silence the voice of the Prophets of God.
Daniel 6, 2 Kings 2:23-25.
        Promises of Gods word Isa 54:14-17, Isa 55:11.

Benaiah killed the giant with a war club Jer 51:20-23
INTERSESSORS you are Gods war club, you are his weapon for battle.
2 Sam 23:23 David put Benaiah in charge of his bodyguard; among the thirty of his mighty men {Pray for an intercessory team leader}.
